I'm not a huge fan of the various Chaos Wizard models that are currently available through official GW channels. Some of the newer plastic ones are nice, but come with sculpted square bases. I want to use round bases. I'd have to cut some of the details off the square bases since they line up with the feet. The Tzeentch Wizard's toes are actually on the base and not the model.
On my last visit to my local gaming store, I ran across Reaper's Bones line and found some cool models to use as a generic Chaos Wizard and his familiars...
I need to read up and see if there's anything special I need to know about the Bones material. It's very flexible and I'm not sure how that will impact the painting. I'm wondering if there's anything I can do to firm it up a little. My main concern is that I don't want the paint to chip if the model bends to far.
