I had some additional free time and knocked out another couple of Mansions of Madness monsters. The nice thing about painting board game minis is that nobody really expects you to, so literally anything you do is an improvement. I re-did the bases using cork, and then did some really basic dry brushing before picking out eyes, tongue and fangs. It's effective, but not even remotely complicated.
