Star Wars Armada - Assault Frigate Conversion is Painted

I decided to go with the pretty straightforward "bunch of dry brushing plus a little detail work" thing.  That  tends to work well with things you're seeing from really far away...  like a spaceship.  

I intended for the orange to be like a transparent/glassy viewport sort of thing.  These are Mon Calamari ships and I think it makes sense that they'd want to be able to see out into space from all over the ship.  I'm happy with the result.  The two identical ships are painted as mirror images of each other so that they'll look good flanking the flagship.







I think it's easiest to see the orange in this last pic.  They look better in real life with better lighting.  I tried to put them into my photo box, but it didn't work.  The bases make them so tall that I couldn't get a good shot.
